Meet the Artisans: Jada, The Visionary Driving Artisan Barber's Outreach

At the heart of it all is Jada, our brilliant PR Manager, who brings her unique blend of skills and passion to every project. Whether it’s crafting compelling blogs, building influencer partnerships, or running our newsletters, Jada is an integral part of making Artisan Barber a name people trust and love.

Jada may be relatively new to calling New York City home, having moved here just a year ago, but the city has been part of her story for much longer. Growing up in Washington, D.C., Jada spent her childhood visiting her godmother in NYC and quickly fell in love with its vibrant energy.

While studying Journalism and Film in college, Jada frequently visited New York, especially to see friends and model. “I was coming up to the city almost every month during college,” she says. “With so many friends here and my modeling work bringing me back all the time, moving to NYC just made sense.”

In college, Jada explored her diverse interests through work-study programs and extracurricular activities, focusing on public relations, film production, copywriting, and social media management. “I’ve always had a lot of creative pursuits,” Jada shares. “It’s fun to be involved in so many different things and see how they connect.”

Today, Jada wears many hats: PR Coordinator, lead concierge at Artisan Barber, model, influencer, and even DJ. It’s a busy life, but she loves how each role fuels her creativity and passion for connecting with others.

Jada’s love for NYC extends to its nightlife and food scenes. When she’s not working, you can find her hanging out in the Lower East Side or Bushwick. “I love the LES,” she says. “There are so many great bars, and it’s close enough to Brooklyn to make the commute easy. Bushwick is also amazing—maybe it’s an unpopular opinion, but I’m a raver at heart and love the warehouse scene.”

When late-night work calls, Jada has an unusual go-to snack that keeps her energized: peanut butter. “I’ll grab a spoonful or two, or melt some dark chocolate with it,” she laughs. “It’s simple, but it does the job.”

Jada’s creative side extends to her entertainment preferences as well. “I don’t know if I have a guilty pleasure show,” she muses. “But my all-time favorite is Hannibal. It’s such a dark, weird show, but I think it’s one of the greatest ever made.”
